How to use this template
Announcement emails carry strategic content: company updates, policy changes, product launches, milestones. They are read more carefully than promotions but tolerated less often. Send sparingly.
- State the news in the first sentence. Lead with the conclusion, not the buildup.
- Be honest about what is changing for the recipient and what they need to do.
- Provide a single source-of-truth link (release notes, blog post, status page) that will outlive the email.
- Sign with a real human name, not a faceless team.
